Austin Smith

I am 15 years old and will turn 16 this year. I went to Mills Elementary and then Bailey Middle School for the 6th and 7th grade. I attended the new Gorzycki Middle School in the 8th grade. I will be a sophomore at Bowie High School this year. I am a member of the marching band and plan to continue to be a member of the band throughout high school. In my spare time I like to play soccer, basketball, and drums. I joined Positive Footprint because I want to make a difference in our community and I enjoy making people smile.

Chris Muyshondt

I am 15 years old and will be 16 in December.  I attended Baranoff Elementary School, Bailey Middle School, and am currently a sophomore at Bowie High School. I play soccer and am also a runner with the Bowie Cross Country and Track team during the school year.

I want to volunteer because I am very passionate about helping those around me. I plan to do the best I can at helping with Positive Footprint.

Franco Palomo

I was born in Austin and have attended Mills Elementary and Small Middle School in Southwest Austin. Currently, I am a sophomore at James Bowie High School and a proud member of the award-winning Marching Band as a tenor saxophone player. I enjoy hanging out with friends, listening to music, playing video games, drawing and playing soccer.

In the past couple of years, I have participated in many different community service activities. I have particularly enjoyed getting involved with “Mobile Loafs and Fishes” to help feed the homeless and Travis County’s “Brown Santa” to distribute Christmas gifts to less fortunate families.

My goal is to graduate from High School and go to architecture school at the University of Texas at Austin.  Eventually, I would like to get a Master’s Degree as well.

Gabriel Guzman

I am 16 years old and currently attend Harmony School of Excellence. I have been going there since eighth grade, and previously went to school at Bailey middle school and Kocurek Elementary. I very much enjoy being a student at Harmony, and am involved in clubs like Robotics and Science Olympiad.

I am an honest, determined, mature and trustworthy person. I truly hope to enjoy this experience, and am very grateful for the chance to make a difference.

Hector Ramirez

I am fifteen years old and currently attend Harmony School of Excellence. I live in Austin, TX but I’m originally from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. I like listening to music, watching comedies, hanging out with friends, and playing video games. My dream is to become a psychiatrist and attend the University of Pennsylvania. I hope to give and gain a lot from these experiences.

Jordan Acosta

I am 15 years old and will be 15 in August, 2011 and live in Austin,TX. My favorite activities are sports and xbox. I enjoy playing baseball, football and soccer regularly, and also play these three sports for my high school (Akins).

I hope to be an anesthesiologist when I grow up and go to college somewhere in California, mainly for their beaches. Since my mom doesn’t like this idea, I will most likely end up trying to go to University of Texas.

Matt Marek

I am Matt and am 15 years old. I love building and fixing things,especially automobiles, model plans, model ships and model cars. I enjoy playing several sports, such as soccer, flag-football, tennis, and basketball.

When I am an adult I would like to be an engineer or businessman.
