Volunteering at the Food Bank

I really enjoyed volunteering at the food bank, though I regret going on an empty stomach. It was fun packaging the food with others since I saw it like a puzzle. Each box had to weigh about fifteen pounds and we had to find a way to fit everything in. I worked mostly with two members, Gabe  and Matt. We had fun searching through large boxes of bread and pastries. We made jokes and laughed but still took it seriously. What surprised me the most was how much food we had to through a way because the packaging was open. It seemed to me that some of the people that donated the food did not know how the food needed to be packaged.
